Zora Neale Hurston wrote those words in her novel Their Eyes Were Watching God and, more than eighty years later, 2020 has brought our organization, Hawaiʻi and the world some hard-to-ask questions, provided us complex answers, and found us forwarding new conversations.

This annual report maps the impact of this year on us as people and as an organization.

2020 was a year to get clear about what we value and what our identities can tell us about ourselves. We also got clear about where we want to go and what obstacles we need to address to get there.
