Each year Kupu Hawaiʻi hosts a service day in honor of Martin Luther King Day. This year they will be planting trees and Outdoor Afro Hawaiʻi will be there! Please join us for a morning of service that will continue to give life for generations.
Kupu is providing both a learning and working opportunity at a beautiful wildlife sanctuary that is home to four species of endemic and endangered waterbirds. Outdoor Afro has reserved 10 tickets for Planting Group A, though volunteers can help weed, clean the stream, clear brush, as well as plant a number of native trees at several sites in Hamakua Marsh State Wildlife Sanctuary.
